Week Two, Post Three (Reflection & Questions)

I think that this week's learning was really helpful. I was very excited to get to understand how to actually correctly write to advocate for others and I think it is going to be very useful and helpful now that I am transitioning out of this class and into my new class Incarceration's Witness that I will be starting this next week.
One question that I have in regards to this week's lecture and to the class overall is when is writing maybe not the best way to advocate for others? How do you know when to choose that outlet and when should you choose something else instead?

  1. Good questions. How would you come up with those answers?

    1. I think the only way to come up with those answers is to do specific case studies based on different ways people have advocated for change. Through measuring public response and their effectiveness, it can be understood when writing has been more useful and when it has not met the goal it was set out to achieve.
